I'll make a donation but does it REALLY help? Isnt it going to take some military intervention that our country won't do because it's too busy in Iraq?

I am often ashamed to be an American, and this is just another reason to add to the list. The US has no interest in Darfur...there's no oil or military advantage there, so we're not going to send troops in. That would be a humanitarian effort and we all know too well that the US doesn't do humanitarian. Case in point...our own Gulf Coast after Hurrican Katrina.
