Love & Gay Marriage

Del Martin, 87, and Phyllis Lyon, 84, officially tied the knot last night at 5:01 p.m. at San Francisco City Hall, marking the first same-sex marriage in the state of California. Del and Phyllis, pioneers of the GLBT rights movement, have been together for more than 50 years. I wonder how many of the Christian terrorists protesting outside city hall and other locations around California can make the same claim? Congratulations, ladies, and many happy returns.

I just love these women. How wonderful that in their lifetimes they are able to be at the forefront of all this.

I saw them cutting the cake on some B-roll footage on one of the cable networks last night and I bawled. I love these ladies.

we all celebrate. This isn't just progress for gays, it's progress for all: equality. Equality. Equality.
Indeed, PWADJ!
It IS equality for all. As I said in my blog a few weeks ago, we should ALL celebrate gay-marriage. Because it IS marriage!
