Quick Bits

Justin Evans has written the first review of After the Poison at his blog. I'm honored. I wish I could get the whole review onto a sticker for the cover. Thank you, Justin. And a big thank you to Cheryl Snell for picking up the piece for Alsop Review!

Jackie Sheeler has a fantastic new political blog called Come, Get Angry With Me. She's passionate about her politics and has multifaceted views of what's going on in America and beyond.

I'm interviewing performance artist Laurie Anderson next week. She's one of my artistic idols and I've yet to process the fact that I'll be speaking to her, must less asking coherent questions. She's bringing her show Homeland to Atlanta in September, so part of the interview will be the magazine I edit and a longer version will land somewhere else to be announced soon.

Karen Head just blogged about her jaunt to Paris on the Eurostar. Sigh...

Collin, make sure you ask L.A. how Lou Reed is in bed.

ok quick question: how do you make those nifty links in your posts? i'm comp. illiterate. help?

When you're typing up a new blog post, you should see a pallet of options above the field..buttons for bold, italic, etc. There is a funny little green one that looks like a chain link. You highlight the text or website you want to turn into a link and the click that button. It will probably ask you to enter the link you want. Very easy stuff.

Congrats, Collin! Justin was kind enough to let me post the review over at Alsop Review, too.
It's enough to give a person whiplash, eh?
