I didn't know all that about Palin's pastor. What a freak she is.
And McCain's slip – I think his main goal is to keep us at war until he achieves the 'victory' in Vietnam he never had. He's living in the past,an angry past. Maybe he never did escape the prison he was kept in.
That RS profile needs to be sent to everyone in America. Wow!!!!
GAV
Can I just say that I big heart Keith Olbermann?
I honestly don't remember ever seeing a member of the media attack a politician with such sarcasm and venom. That was SCATHING..... and richly deserved. GAV is right about the RS; everyone needs to see the Obermann as well.

I think there's a lot of campaign fatigue, Button. I know I'm tired and ready for it to be over, but while I'm getting 1,000 and 1,500 views a week, I know people are reading and if I can influence a few people on the fence to vote for Obama, then putting poetry on hold is worth it. The AQLF starts next week, so there will be lots poetry back on the blog then.
Hi ya'll....Rollin Stone featured a profile of McCain--back in the day--by none other than David Foster Wallace(who recently committed suicide). THAT profile was a pretty flattering one. This one, which references McCain's rather brief foray into an integrity-laden period in his life, is certainly more intense, and truthful! I agree with all the other commenters--this RS profile ought to be REQUIRED reading! I'm going to print it out, and drop it off at a couple of "undecided" households of which I know!
1500 views a week! Woot!
