SAINTS & SINNERS: Got word yesterday that I'll be a featured reader at this year's Saints & Sinners Literary Festival in New Orleans. I was supposed to be on a panel with Megan Volpert, Theresa Davis and David-Matthew Barnes, but our panel was up against one that included Mark Doty, Trebor Healey and Joan Larkin. Guess which one they picked? However, the organizers were impressed enough by our bios to invite us as featured readers, so we'll be road-tripping down there in May. I've already booked my room at the Bourbon Orleans, a fairly swanky hotel in the French Quarter where most of the events will be happening. I haven't been to NO post-Katrina. I'm excited to be returning to this city that has been such great inspiration, but I know it will somehow feel different.

It sounds like a fabulous thing to go and take part in, Collin. Have a lot of fun and be sure to eat plenty while you are there. A poet and his dinner should never be parted.
Hi--CONGRATULATIONS, Collin!
Hansoo & I were just discussing visiting N'awlins soon. Perhaps we can plan to be there when your readings take place--what are the Venue, Date and Time of the Readings?
