THREE READINGS: It's going to be a busy weekend of readings for me. On Saturday, June 28 at 7 p.m. I will be reading at Barnes & Noble in Fayetteville. The store is located on Georgia Highway 85 across from Fayette Pavilion. Last month's reading brought a small, but appreciative crowd and we are hoping to pack more folks into the coffee shop this Saturday.

On Sunday, June 29, I will be reading during the 2003 Atlanta Pride Celebration. The event is slated for 2 - 4 p.m. at the gazebo on the lake in Piedmont Park. I'll be reading selections from Better To Travel and a sampling of new works. About 10 other poets, including the fabulous Robin Kemp, are on the bill, so come out and listen.

And then of course on Sunday night at 8:30 p.m., I will be reading at Java Monkey Speaks as usual. This past Sunday's anniversary was fun and there was a capacity crowd. Poems for the JMS chapbook are trickling in. If any of you JMS regulars are reading this, get your poetry in ASAP. Kodac Harrison and Cleo Creech have probably already sent you an email, but this is just a gentle reminder.
