BOOK RELEASE UPDATE: I'm still working on getting the main website back up to speed after the virus. It should be all back to normal in time for the big September update. All the information for upcoming readings and events is still relative, so surf over to www.collinkelley.com and have a look. In the meantime, a few of you have alerted me that Borders has been unable to order Better To Travel. I am not sure why this is, but I will look into it. However, Borders is teamed up with Amazon.com (there is no Borders website, it redirects you to Amazon) and the book is available for order there now. Some of the big book chains give short shrift to print-on-demand (POD) books, but BTT is easily available online and at some bookstores. B&N can definitely order you a copy if none are in stock. Amazon.com's "in stock" message seems to fluctuate by the day on POD books. One day it will say "available in one to two weeks," the next it will say "available in 24 hours." Ignore these messages. If you order from Amazon.com or one of the other online sites, the book usually arrives in a week.

On another interesting note, Better To Travel is also available at Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.fr, the latter of which is the French site and it has the book priced in Euros. Very cool. The book has truly gone international.

READING ON AUGUST 23: I will be reading from the book on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble in Fayetteville, GA. I am not sure if copies of the book will be on sale or not, because we are trying not to canibalize sales from the big B&N/Fayette County Library launch on Sept. 19. However, please come out and support me and hear me read if you are in the area. The Atlanta Journal and Constitution did an interview and took a photo of me that is supposed to appear in the Thursday, Aug. 21 edition in the Fayette pullout section. Keep an eye out for it!
