CRISIS CONTINUES: While America digs itself deeper into the mire that is Iraq, the humanitarian crisis in the Darfur region of Sudan continues. The international aid organizations are overwhelmed and the Sudanese government is doing nothing to disarm the militia that is systematically raping women, killing men and forcing hundreds of thousands into camps. Sudan says it is not genocide, but of course they would say that. Famine is not imminent, it is happening. In the meantime, Dubya and his minions are forcing an election in Afghanistan to help boost the look of their foreign policy ahead of the November elections and our troops are facing a huge uprising in Iraq. If Dubya gets re-elected, then the people of America should be ashamed. I again encourage everyone who reads this to make a donation to the World Food Programme and to support John Kerry for president.
