DO YOU NEED A MAN? The award-winning Art Amok series returns to Little Five Points 7 Stages on Saturday, March 24, at 10 p.m. with a special evening featuring five of the hottest poets and spoken word artists in the business today. I Need A Man: All Male Showcase is in response to 7 Stages production of Disposable Men, but these guys are all essential.Taking the stage: Jon Goode, Bryan Pattillo, Carlos Robson, Basik Knowledge and Rupert Fike. The event will be hosted by two bad asses – Collin Kelley and, to add a little estrogen to the evening, Theresa Davis.
After the featured performers stick around for the Art Amok Slam (sign up at 9:30 p.m.), as a team is selected to go to Austin, Texas this summer for the National Poetry Slam.
