Monday Music: Temperamental (Live) - Everything but the Girl



It's been a very hectic, busy weekend. More on that tonight or tomorrow when I catch my breath. In the meantime, a fabulous live version of Temperamental, which I dedicate to BFF Tina who loves this song as much as I do.

Not to be negative (so, seriously) but me and my friends used to joke about Everything But The Girl by saying the reason they named themselves that is because the lead singer is so homely, the others in the band wish they could really take everything but the girl.

I think the success of EBTG, and now Tracey Thorn as a solo artist, is proof positive that talent is more important than looks. America would rather watch some no talent hooker wiggle her ass and who cares that she can't sing. Tracey Thorn has one of the most beautiful and distinctive voices in music. I could care less what she looks like.

MM - Yes, I believe that was their biggest hit "Missing," which I'm sure you've danced to at some 'mo club at some point in your life. If you haven't, then you're truly missing out. :)
