NEW POETRY AND CD UPDATE: The new issue of In Posse Review guest edited by Peter Pereira is now online and features three of my poems: "Human Trafficking," "Spring Hill" and "Fairy Tale Eating Disorders." The issue is themed around the body and I am thrilled to be in such amazing company as Jared Leising, Ivy Alvarez, Jeannine Hall Gailey, Kelli Russell Agodon, Arlene Ang, Justin Evans and the great Richard Garcia. You can use this link to go directly to my poems, but be sure to read the whole issue. It's filled with really beautiful work.

The re-issued version of my spoken word album, HalfLife Crisis, is now available for purchase at CD Baby. You will soon be able to download tracks from iTunes as well. This CD, which has original music by Denton Perry and guest vox from Christeen Snell, features poems from Better To Travel, Slow To Burn and other previously published work including "Short Time," "Diners at 2 AM," "Sex In My Parents' House," "The Clarity of Loss," "What Remains" and "Why I Want To Be Pam Grier." The CD is $10 and you can purchase it at this link. I'll keep you posted on when you can download from iTunes and other MP3 sites.

Hope everyone has had a good holiday weekend.

You GO Mr. Poetry!

It's inspiring to see your work and all the others in such a classy e-journal. The Internet has changed access to poetry in very cool ways.
This is a really strong trio of poems--especially like "Human Trafficking." Congratulations.

Collin:

Great poems! That line,

"AIDS made him Pompeii"

After that you had me hook, line, and sinker.

It's Great to share a little space with you.

Lisa Allender sayin':"Spring Hill", I'd never heard....I burst into tears, thinking of dear Terry. Thank you for that homage, to Spring Street, and Terry, Coll...
"Human Trafficking" was equally devastating...

I'm checking your Blog tomorrow, to see what you think, regarding the new "documentary" about Princess Di...I know you'll have strong feelings on it...
