LEAVING FOR LONDON: It's departure day! I'm already checked in and can just go straight to security at the airport in Atlanta, which means I only have to arrive two hours before the flight instead of three. I have fingers and toes crossed that I have a row to myself or least a seat in between another passenger. That makes all the difference on these eight hour-plus flights. The plane lands in London at 7:30 a.m. on Friday morning and I will go straight to the hotel for a nap. I have no idea if I'll be able to sleep on the plane. I've got a pill to relax me, but that doesn't mean it will work.
Late in the afternoon, I'll take the train to Lewes. The picture is where I'll be reading -- The Lewes Library. It looks very modern and cool. As I said in the previous post, the weekend and all next week is full of people, places and things. I'll be meeting up with friends and bloggers and just spending time in the city I love more than any other.
I'll be posting about my travel adventures and the Lewes reading at some point on Saturday afternoon before I go the Kate Bush Forum party. Check back.
