Tonight was a total knockout at the
Democratic National Convention. Bill Clinton gave, as expected, a masterful speech that reminded why he served for eight prosperous years. Beau Biden gave a moving introduction to his father and future vice-president Joe Biden. And Biden himself went after McCain with a ferocity that was required and credible. My favorite line of the night was from Clinton who said to tell Republicans, "Thanks, but no thanks" of four more years of the same old tactics the Bush Administration has used to bring this country nearly to its knees. I expect Obama's speech tomorrow night is going to be a stunner.
