Voices Carry Reading, Nov. 8

Poetry Atlanta will present the fifth annual Voices Carry: An Evening of Poetry & Spoken Word on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 8 p.m. at Wordsmiths Books in Decatur, GA. The line-up for this year's reading includes Theresa Davis, Jim Elledge, Kodac Harrison, Laurel Snyder and Cecilia Woloch. Collin Kelley will host.

  The reading is free and open to the public. There will be a wine and cheese reception before the reading and authors will sign books after the event. Wordsmiths is located at 545 N. McDonough St. (the southside of the courthouse square across from the bandstand). Free parking is available in the small lot outside the store, on surrounding streets and in the city garage on Trinity Avenue, which is just a block from Wordsmiths. MARTA's Decatur station is just steps from Wordsmiths front door.
