Publication week is here!

My new poetry collection, Midnight in a Perfect World, will be officially published on Thursday, Nov. 15, by Sibling Rivalry Press. Those who preordered copies have already started receiving the book and I have been thrilled to see readers posting photos and comments about it on social media! You can order your own copy via SRP at this link, at Charis Books here in Atlanta or through your favorite indie bookstore. If you shop via Amazon or Barnes & Noble, those links will be coming soon.

It's going to be a busy week of events, kicking off with a radio interview with Jennifer Perry on her streaming Madame Perry's Salon at Blog Talk Radio on Monday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. EST. You can listen live and even call in and ask questions or talk with me about the book or whatever else strikes your fancy. The show will be available for playback immediately after it airs live. Listen at this link.

On Wednesday, Nov. 14, I am excited to be taking part in "Express Yourself: Social Justice Spoken" word at the Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta. The event begins at 6 p.m. and I will be reading alongside Theresa Davis, Kodac Harrison and more. You can find out more about the event at this link.

The official launch of Midnight in a Perfect World will be Thursday, Nov. 15, 7:15 p.m. as part of the annual Voices Carry poetry reading co-sponsored by Poetry Atlanta and Georgia Center for the Book. The free event, which also features Cecilia Woloch, Sharan Strange, Rupert Fike and JC Reilly, will be held at the Decatur Library, 215 Sycamore St. in Decatur, GA. Charis Books & More will provide books for the evening.

And then on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 7:30 p.m. I will read from the new collection at Charis Books, 1189 Euclid Ave. in Little Five Points. I will be reading with the brilliant Katie Farris (boysgirlsThirteen Intimacies).

If you're headed to AWP in Portland, stay tuned for information about signings and readings I'll be doing there with Sibling Rivalry. I'm also headed to LA in April and to London in June for a return engagement at the Polari reading series at Southbank Centre. More readings to be announced soon!

What's the date for your Southbank reading? I should be in London by then.
