The last Friday of 2012

Many thanks to James Taylor for having me on his show, Writers In Focus, back in the fall. The episode is now on YouTube and you can watch it above. We talk about Remain In Light, Kiss Shot and poetry.

The Next Best Book Blog asked me and some of my fellow writers to offer up my favorite books of 2012. You can check out all the lists at this link.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I spent the day with my family then met up with my friend Cleo to see Tarantino's latest, Django Unchained. The film is controversial, but I though it was a fantastic movie with great performances by Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio and Samuel L. Jackson. And it was vintage Tarantino – violent, bloody, completely un-PC and a great soundtrack.

I'm spending this final weekend of 2012 working on the third book in the Venus Trilogy.
