Happy Birthday!!!!!!!

Welcome to Club 39. I hope you have a great day, Collin.
Since when is mid-life 39? Jeez. Happy Birthday, Collin!

Happy birthday -- 39 is the age my great-grandmother assigned herself. She was 39 for about 40 years.

Reb, your grandmother had the right idea. When I'm pissing on myself and gumming my food, I'll still be 39. ;-)
Happy birthday, Collin.
have a great day!

Aw, happy birthday! Now's when you get to say, until the end of days, when someone asks you how old you are: "39 and holding!"

Have a great one!

Happy Birthday! And have a great day! (My perfect birthday is skipping work and reading poetry all day, but I don't have much of a life)

Happy birthday, Collin! 39 is prime!

Collin, 39 isn't mid-life! You'll find that mid-life moves up the older you get. I told you Happy Birthday on Facebook, but two proclamations for the aging gent can't hurt:-)

39 is fine, but the forties are sublime.

Oh, and hey, here's your horoscope (courtesy of Free Will Astrology--the only horoscope worth reading) for this week. I figure you can swap out "skate" and "puck" for your own more appropriate verb and noun. "Write" and "poem", perhaps.

"I hate to lay a sports metaphor on you, Virgo, let alone one articulated by a hockey player. But it's such an apt description of the approach that will work best for you in the coming week, I had to bring it to your attention. "I skate to where the puck is going to be, not to where it has been," quoth Wayne Gretzky. Apple CEO Steve Jobs liked those words so much, he made them his own when he introduced the iPhone to the public back in January 2007. Now I hope you will find a way to apply the idea in your own sphere."

Collin, I'm late and I suck!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday!!! And just so you know, I've been having a mid-life crisis since I turned 30.

Collin, many happy returns of the day...haven't you heard - 39 is the new 19! ; )
Collin, I have to agree with your other commenter and say that 39 is definitely not mid-life. Wait another ten/fifteen years or so and have the crisis then.

You look pensive and soulful.

i love this photo of you, Capote. i can see it in some digital literary history book talking about Atlanta literati in the early 21st century.

anyhoo ... we didn't get to do a joint celebration or ritual this year. soon, we'll have to do a combined CherrylFest/Collin Bash that will leave jaws on the ground.

miss you ...

love,
