I Might Go Straight For Her

Gillian Anderson in the new issue of Maxim magazine. Hubba-hubba! Still geeking hard for the new X-Files movie in July. A nice dinner, a little hand holding, some chaste lip kissing, trying on her shoes...

I'm reading tonight at Outwrite Books at 8 p.m. (see details at this link, and do join us!) which is the exact moment Mariah Carey will be mentoring the contestants on American Idol and forcing them to sing her craptastic songs. Never fear, the recap will appear later in the evening. Ousted Aussie beefcake Michael Johns was apparently going to cover Vision of Love, but I bet Syesha will destroy it now. Or maybe Kristy Lee. Or maybe David "Mr. Smug" Cook will do an emo-rock version.

T.Ro...she's always had a hot body, she always just hid it under trench coats and frumpy clothes on X-Files until near the end of the show. I actually think she's gotten hotter after leaving X-Files and has branched out to do other films and challenging roles.

I always thought Gillian was sexy, but here, her face could be the face of that short, blond-ish housewife(the older-looking one--the one who was in the film, "TransAmerica") NOT Nicolette Sheridan). I can't think of her name, but she(Gillian) reminds me of her, except with blond hair.
And yeah--Gillian's bod is fabulous!

Ladytron, I have not seen Straightheads yet...it's on my list of must see rentals. It was a very controversial film in the UK and polarized critics and audiences.

Lisa, are you talking about Felicity Huffman? I don't see the resemblance in the pic of Gillian to be honest. lol

Hey, Colin, "Straightheads" is not half as bad as some reviewers made it to be. It's gritty, uncompromising, doesn't search for excuses. Also, watch it more than one time if you can stand a double fix of violence: lots of things sort of fall into place. And Gillian looks fabulous and acts very well.

That's it--Felicity Huffman. Look at the angles in her face, the nasal-labial(or ist it labal?) fold, the set of her mouth and chin--they look like sisters, though Gillian is much hotter.
